Please read our order terms before confirming your order. By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read these terms and agree to them.
When you place an order, we agree on the size, flavour, design and price of the cake, as well as the collection time.
An order is considered confirmed once all the key details have been agreed and the deposit has been paid, where a deposit is required for the order.
We recommend placing your order as early as possible. For larger, multi-tier, wedding and more intricately designed cakes, please allow a longer lead time.
We accept short-notice orders whenever we can.
All our cakes are handmade, and every cake is unique.
A reference picture helps us understand the overall style, colours and idea. We do not make exact copies of cakes, whether our own or those made by other cake makers.
Every cake maker has their own signature, style and creative vision. As a result, the finished cake may differ somewhat from the one in the reference photo.
By confirming the order, the customer agrees that we reserve the right to take a creative approach when making the cake and to make small changes to the design, while keeping to the agreed overall concept.
A handmade cake may look a different size from a shop-bought cake.
Colours in photos may differ slightly from the actual shades, depending on the screen, the lighting and the ingredients used.
The size, shade and appearance of natural decorations, such as berries, fruit and flowers, may vary with the season and availability.
Small differences in details, decorations or their placement are natural in handmade products.
We reserve the right to decline an order if the requested design, technique or combination is not something we can achieve.
Once your order has been finally confirmed, please do not make significant changes to the design.
We can only make changes if the production schedule and the preparations already made allow it.
Late changes may affect the final price of the cake.
As a general guide, we recommend allowing:
Very young children do not usually eat cake, so there is no need to allow an adult-sized portion for them.
The price of a cake depends on its size, filling, the complexity of the design, and the techniques and decorations used.
You can pay by bank transfer, or in cash when you collect the cake.
If a deposit is required to confirm the order, the date is booked once the deposit has been received.
The deposit is deducted from the final price of the order.
If you need to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible.
If an order is cancelled less than 72 hours before the agreed collection time, the deposit is not refunded.
The deposit is non-refundable because it covers the working time spent preparing the order, the time reserved for it, and the materials already bought or made.
Please come for your cake at the agreed time.
If you realise you are running late, please be sure to let us know in advance.
When the cake is handed over, please check it and tell us straight away about any damage or problems.
Once the cake has been handed over, the customer is responsible for transporting and storing it.
When transporting the cake, please:
Cakes must be kept in the fridge at +2…+6 °C.
Keep the cake in its box until serving, and protect it from direct sunlight and heat.
We do not recommend leaving the cake in a car or at room temperature for long periods.
When storing the cake, please follow any specific instructions we give you where they differ from these general recommendations.
Not all cake decorations are necessarily edible.
If inedible decorations are used on the cake, we will let the customer know. Inedible elements must be removed before serving.
When placing your order, please be sure to tell us about any known allergies and food intolerances.
Our products may contain various allergens, and a number of ingredients containing allergens are handled in our kitchen. We therefore cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free product.
If you notice a problem with the cake when you collect it, please let us know as soon as possible and, if you can, send us a photo of the problem.
We are responsible for any defects that were already present when the cake was handed over.
Once the cake has been handed over, we are not liable for damage caused by its transport, incorrect handling or storage, or other circumstances within the customer’s control.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read these order terms and agree to them.
